WELCOME TO THE OCEANIC TIDES ANIMATION DEMO The oceanic tides displayed here are based on the University of Texas tides model Version 3.0. This model was derived from satellite altimetry data obtained by the TOPEX/POSEIDON satellite. Only heights between -3 to +3 meters are shown. The tides shown were measured once per hour on January 1st 1997. MENU OPTIONS ------------ File Menu: Select "Quit" to exit the demonstration. View Menu: Select "Colors" to start the XLOADCT application, which allows you to choose a new color table for the animation. About Menu: Select "About this Animation" to display this help text.
